Our group has decided to bring finality to our PLC.
We strongly encourage high school and middle school staff to develop an employability skills grade for each of their classes.
Employability skills grade should be based on the following criteria with individual teacher discretion to determine point value, weighting, and course content.
A. Attitude
B. Work Ethic
C. Relationships
D. Contributions
E. Job Performance
Our group believes we cannot mandate each teacher to utilize an employability skills grade without School Board approval and due to the uniqueness of each course, we believe it difficult to develop a “one size fits all” document that encompasses all classes.
