Also, make sure your page is linked to your icon on this page. Anyone should be able to get to your site by clicking on the picture you have posted. If you have not done this, see previous directions that are still posted on the blog. If you need help, please ask.

How to make a blog
Go to "www.blogger.com"
"Creat an Account" (big orange box)
Follow the steps. Make sure you use your school email account (spartanpride).
When you get to "Blog Title," make it something with your PLC name. I would put the same thing as your Blog Address (the actual URL you will use).
Choose a background template
The next screen will say "start blogging." This is where you can enter your first post. I would just do a practice one this first time to get the feel for it if you're new. You can always go back and delete later.
Now is the somewhat trickier part. :)
Open another window and go to "http://gcplc.blogspot.com/"
That is our PLC home page. You are going to join this page as a follower.
Click on the "follow" button.
Select "google" since our Spartanpride accounts are google
It will ask you to login again (use your blogger password, not your school password)
It will ask you if you want to follow publicly. Say yes and hit "follow this blog"
Your account is now attached to the PLC page, but you need to attach your page as a link.
You will see your name on top next to a blank picture box (you have to be logged in to your blogger account for this to work).
Click on "options" and select "site settings"
Click "add links" and enter the url from your blog and your blog title.
Your blog will now be linked to the PLC home page. As you get more skilled in blogging, you group will want to add a picture to you link so the boxes on the PLC page do not all look the same (If this hurts your brain, just ask and I can help you). You just click on your box and go to "edit settings," then you can edit your photo.
Now, whenever you enter your minutes for your PLC, all you have to do is create a new post on your page. That's it. Then anyone who wants to look at your minutes can access your blog from the PLC page. This should keep everyone who wants to be informed up to date and elminate the process of uploading/downloading, sending, finding etc. your minutes and provide you with a comprehensive overview of your PLC work that you can easily scroll through.
Once you have created your blog, you will receive an email asking you to activate/validate your account. Go ahead and do this. I think they just want to verify it is you. :)
